Chelle Ponders......

A new feature on my blog starting today.

I rarely have time to have a complete thought, much less sit down and type it out for the blogosphere.

So in the spirit of "Deep Thoughts" from old Saturday Night Live, I bring you,

Chelle Ponders.......

if you make your bed at 3:30pm...does it still count?

Yes!
If you take a shower at 2:00pm does it still count?

Who cares?? Why would you "make the bed" anyway? You ARE going to get back in it at night right? Did you put all the stupid pillows back on it too? I yell at Wife for doing that. ANNOYING!!

I would have to say "yes" too! I am not a morning person and Mike sleeps while I am at work (he's a 3rd shifter right now) but I can't stand getting into a bed that isn't "freshly" made, so I make it before I crawl in each night... and I think even that counts :)

It does count. I, too, will make my bed just before climbing in if I have to. It just doesn't feel right if it's not made.

Yes it counts . . . many times the bed is being made as Mike is driving up the driveway home from work. He doesn't know it's been a mess all day. All he knows is the fresh look of our bedroom when he comes home.

This goes for house cleaning too.

I usually wait until 5:00ish to start the pick up process. It's clean by the time Mike gets home, and he's none the wiser. However, I have gotten burned when he comes home early.

As you can tell. He's the neat freak, not me. I do it for him.

definitely! I don't usually have to worry about that because Dad and I have a rule, last one out makes the bed and it's usually him! He wouldn't want to disappoint me by not making it so it's always done! But, anytime will do. I can't stand to climb into a rumpled bed. Besides, it makes the entire room look messy!

But, all of you must admit that you can't make a warm bed. It just isn't right! You have to let it cool off first.
