Will I Stay or Will I Go?

I was checking the national headlines today and came across this story about Starbucks increasing it pricing about 9 cents.

So now the question out there is, Will folks still grab that seemingly addictive and unmatched cup of joe while paying nine cents more for it??

I'm no expert, but I don't think it will stop anyone, including my once weekly allotted Vanilla Latte. I'll add nine cents to the weekly budget. Start digging in the couch for change, raiding my kids piggy bank, anything to get that Starbucks!!!!!!!!!!

If you are concerned with the price of coffee, may I suggest you get it for free? How? you may ask. Well instead of Starbucks just stop in to a nearby car dealership, insurance office, lawyers office, morgage company or maybe even a bar after 2:00 in the morning and they will offer you a free coffee. Lets see at about $3.00 per cup times 365 days a year is over a $1,000.00 savings.

Fig, obviously you have not enjoyed the finer coffee drinks. Maybe we should invite him to bloggers coffee sometime and introduce him to the good life.

I am also sorry to say I will not be able to defend my title of Two Ski Queen this Saturday. We have a wedding and I have to work in the morning.

I was at the mall this morning and brought the kids to the play area. I saw another mom drinking a cup of Starbucks, and decided to get one for myself since it was just a few steps away.

I ordered a short hazelnut latte - my "regular" - and what they gave me was no bigger than a dixie cup - seriously! $2.70 for less than 1 cup of liquid. Of course I had already paid . . . thinking I was getting a cup twice as big . . .

Fool me once, shame on you . . . but you won't fool me twice Starbucks!

Stupid Starbucks! Too bad it's so darn good!

Fig, you might as well put a little dirt from the parking lot in a cup if that's what you call a cup of coffee . . . not worth the savings! Good thought, though.

A Caramel Frappuccino on a hot summer day tastes oh so good. I will just take the extra nine cents out of my kids' piggy banks.

Another advantage of not budgeting Sonny. You can just spend more!!!!!!!

Coffee rots! If you have to acquire a taste for something that stains your teeth and isn't that good for you, why acquire it? I have spoken.

I tried to order Black Coffee with some carmel syrup at a "coffee shop", and she looked at me and said, we don't have that!

What you people are getting is not coffee it's a slurpy or a shake!!!

Well, coming from Starbucks capitol of the world....I have to say, I'd pass up Starbucks for many others, but I think that your options are bit slimmer than mine, so pay the extra 9 cents and ENJOY IT.

I like my coffee black but when at Starbucks I have what I like to call "fancy coffee". Come on Stace, you are missing out. I am thinking that maybe you went with Fig and got the so called "free" coffee.

Who would have thought that a year ago Michelle would be blogging about her addiction to coffee.
