Chelle Ponders...

Why, in the stillness of a Tuesday morning, did I hear the sound of water gushing out of the garden hose? Why were we watering the snow, and for how long?

I'm afraid the answers to these and many other questions will never be known.

Apparently it is really bothering you if you are still thinking about it on Thursday afternoon.

Sounds like a problem we had a month ago. Nizer was over and all the sudden there is an explosion! We couldn't find the source until we looked out the front window and there was a geyser the height of our house coming out where our sprinkling system attaches to our house! It was risky!!!!! Brad says, "Oops, I waited too long to flush out that valve."

First Dan then Braaaad, will they ever learn? Drain the system!

The first spring here, we had a water pipe burst due to expansion from leaving a hose hooked up.

$500 later, that was a hard lesson to learn.

I am so glad to be a part of such an elite group. RP did the same thing the second year we were in our house. It was a really cold night and we had such a beautiful water/ice show going on outside that the neighbor lady came over to tell us.
RP was not a happy camper to say the least. We even have a self draining system. Duh! Guess you just have to remeber to do it.
