When my 2 year old randomly starts singing: "Spongebob Squarepants, Spongebob Squarepants, Sponge -Boobbbb, Square-Paaaannnts.... and she sings it on tune.
Big parenting oops.
Us Hopkins kids watched a good amount of TV growing up and we claim to have turned out excellent, although some might disagree :)

What do you think is worse? The fact that Noah can quote lines from SpongeBob, or that I know exactly which episode he's talking about?
I think you all turned ok, but your dad is a little off.
If they didn't watch we couldn't get advertisers, and if we didn't get advertisers, we wouldn't get paid, These are our careers we are talking about, try to think a little more about others, we have to support our families
But have any of you stood in the bathroom and checked out each other's "under-roos" to see whose SpongeBobs are better? Noah got me on that one! I just didn't meet up to his standards!
No Patrick, no Squidward, & no SpongeBob....
"But maybe Grandpa can buy you some when he goes to the store next time, Grandma!" (Thanks, Noah, but I'm still waiting!)
I used to watch. . . Oh look a chicken. . .cartoons all the time, and I. . .Tami how about those cookies. . .turned out O.K. I think my problem. . .magic conch, magic conch. . .is working with Dave all these years.
As long it is not Disneys' show "That's so Raven" I don't care. Keep the time limited for the other shows, but my kids know if Dad's home That's so Raven is not allowed. I HATE that show! on a side note: When I was fatter my kids thought my face looked like spongebob, a little square jaw
I am an expert on TV. Why read when you can see it on TV. As it is said " A pitcher is woerth a tosand werds" It never infected me at all. I stil m sweat. eat my shorts.
TV is reality- Everything you see on TV happened for REAL.
Jack is right, TV is real reality, except for "Reality TV", which is really actors
No guilt. We ALL do it even if the Pediatrians say, "No". I guess they didn't really raise kids in the 21st century?? Just smother them with love and they'll be fine. OK maybe some discipline every once and a while too. BTW, YUMMY popcorn!
You have to be careful what your children can watch. An alpine man falling off a cliff on the Price is Right can give nightmares. "This is a test, for the next 60 secs. This is only a test" I'll bet this brings tears to your eyes.
I was an odd child, wasn't I?
Chelle, you were an odd child... but we all were. We were offspring of Fig.
I recall a contest mom and dad had us do to see if we could cut back our T.V. watching for a month. We all did it and earned $50. Do you remember what we bought?
