I don't like Fall.

There I said it, now everyone is hating me (especially you Jamie, sorry ). I am pretty sure I am the only person alive that does not like this time of year. Yeah, the colors are pretty for like 2 weeks but then what? Awaiting us is the doom and gloom of winter, cold and flu season, and of course 600 hours of darkness each day. Nothin' like going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. Am I right, Dan? I hate pulling out the old drab winter clothes, and putting away the fun summer sandals. The weather is so picky, I would rather it be 90 degrees than 55 degrees---bluck!

Like something my brother Ross said yesterday---Blogging is all about Soapboxes. I climbed up on mine today.

I think the reason you hate fall is cause you start thinking about the winter on the Fourth of July.

Chelle, I agree with you too. Fall only means 1 thing to me, and that is Winter is right around the corner. Give me 90 and sunny over 20 and cloudy any time. I think I'm going to move to Hawaii, if I can figure out a way to get Dutchie to still pay me when I'm gone.

I think you all are psycho! 50-60 is the ideal temerature for about any activity you want to do. Anything over 75 is just too stinking hot - even just sitting at the lake. Plus the cooler weather leads to a "quiter" lake. :-). Kraig, I think you could do the same amount of work in Hawaii as you do here, so you just have to talk Dutchie into it.

Blog quote, "If Nothing Changes, Nothing Changes". You do not like fall because it is a sign of change.

Why does this say that it was posted on Sept 21?

I laughed when I read your blog. I actually feel the same way about summer (notice I am posting this on your blog and not mine). I like summer, but I don't think I really appreciate it coming from CA. It was always summer there! Also because Josh throws so many dagum pool parties that I have people in the pool six times a week. What a thing to complain about, huh?

I can give you a million reasons why fall is great. Here are just a few: Hunting season, hunting season, Thanksgiving meal, smooth barefooting water, you can swim in you pool by yourself (Minime), Halloween candy corn, Christmas is here!, oh and my birthday celebration begins, I have to start ordering fireworks.

I love fall! It is absolutely the best season of the year!

Here are a few reasons:
1. Back to school - shopping for school supplies, buying new school cloths - it's like a new beginning.

2. The crisp air - not the soggy, humid, "I can hardly breath" summer air.

3. The leaves - the beauty God created, the fun of hunting with the kids for beautiful leaves, jumping into leave piles.

4. Hayrides - We always have a family hayride each October, and the kids love going to Post Family Farms.

5. My birthday - Mike's birthday

6. Hot apple cider and hot chocolate

7. Bon fires

8. Jeans - I love wearing jeans!

9. Sweatshirts - I love wearing sweatshirts!

10. It's still warm enough to have bare feet!
